Your favourite Red Card moments?
Good nomination in a la Liga game today, a real spur of the moment bit of madness! Think this guy is a Chelsea target as well…………..hahahahha

Always remember one of the worst i saw was the one when Alvin Martin was falling over and put his arm out to break his fall and the ball hit his upper arm from behind but he got a Red! Was later recinded but terrible decision.

Or the Turkish player in the WC when Rivaldo “faked” injury......

Benjamin Massing on Claudio Caniggia.
You could see it coming for ages - it was almost balletic.

I think Alvin was also sent off when he threw himself head first into a players legs.

John Hughes in the world club championship. He went into a tackle with a Racing Club player who rolled around in agony despite Hughes hardly touching him. Hughes knew he was going off and decided to get his money's worth and kicked seven bells of shit out of him.

Patrick Vieira and Mark Vivien Foe in our 2 1 win against the Arse in the late 1990s.
Ruddock got under Vieras skin so much he ended up with a record ban.

Always remembered that, if it's what I'm thinking. Hadn't Cannigia already hurdled 2 attempted fouls down the right side, and then the 3rd guy (Massing) came in and cleaned him out?

One of my favourites was Ricardo Fuller getting sent off at Upton Park in 2008

I was 15 at the time and found it hilarious how he got sent off and we went on to win the game.

Favourite foul - definitely Massing

Favourite red card though has to be one given to someone you hate for something innocuous. Son v Chelsea with his reaction a good recent example.

Re: Your favourite Red Card moments?
As previously mentioned Di Canio pushing Alcock over pure comedy with Winterburn getting involved, then sh@tting himself when Paolo gave him the eyes. Dicksy dumping Wise in the advertising hoardings and then walking off as he knew what was coming. But for sheer madness Boogers clattering into Neville as soon as he was brought onto the field of play

Leroy getting Steve Clarke in a headlock in 88, having already done the damage with two goals. Went on to win 4-1 and Chelsea eventually relegated.

Before Red Cards were invented best sending off at Upton Park was Kieth Robson head butting George Burley right in front of the Ref , he did not even wait around to be sent off was half way to the tunnel when the Ref pointed to him.

Re: Your favourite Red Card moments?
I remember that game bubbles, just after Christmas 1975. Robson was like wild man of Borneo

Burley was a nasty fxxcker, I was at the front in the North Bank around ‘73 when he gobbed in John McDowell’s boat
